Well, maybe some of you already know who Chris was. I would like to dedicate this thread specially for her, so any feeling you have about her, feel free to post it here

uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VvH6fxP5hMo*ahem* For those of you who have no idea who Paola and I are talking about when we refer to Chris, I will explain briefly. (Paola, please feel free to add your thoughts on this, because I tend to go overboard with sentimental words when I talk about Chris.) To put it simply, though it's not really simple at all, Chris was a valued member of the official George Harrison forum, loved by many and supported by many through a battle with cancer. She passed away on April 8, 2007. ("My Sweet Lord" was her favourite George track, hence the YouTube link at the top.)

That's so sad. She's in a better place, though

Thanks for posting here, strawberryfields8. I would like as many people as possible to know Chris' story, because she was such a great person. She loved George Harrison, and everyone who came into contact with her loved her. It's quite strange how it's generally those people who leave first, and their absence is most keenly felt. But life must continue somehow, making sure we keep the memories safe, and alive. That's what this thread is about.

I find it slightly odd that I grieve(d) so deeply for somebody who was (or seemed) utterly ready for death, although perhaps more than being ready for death, Chris was ready for the release it would bring. When I think of it like that, the pain lessens. Still there, but not so much, or not so painful, at least.

Crazy to think it's been just over two years. Love you always, Chris.
